Work in connected or non-connected mode

Depending on how you are going to use BelfiusWeb, decide to work:

• in connected mode: the card reader is connected to your computer by a cable,
• or in non-connected mode: you use the card reader without the cable.

How to decide?

• Connecting the card reader is:
  • practical because you only need to enter your PIN code to log in and sign transactions. The signature procedure is simplified.
  • necessary if you want to import or export files, download account statements and/or CODA files or read electronic identity documents.
• Not connecting the card reader is:
  • possible at any time to carry out any transaction other than importing/exporting files, downloading account statements or CODA files or reading electronic identity documents,
  • the option chosen for occasional users of BelfiusWeb.
