Want to make a transfer where the funds reach the payee’s account immediately? It’s easy – thanks to instant payments
With an instant payment, the money reaches the payee’s account in a few seconds, complete with the daily value date, including at night, during the weekend and even on public holidays.
An instant payment can be made to a payee at most Belgian banks and with a large number of European banks in the SEPA zone.
We offer this option in BelfiusWeb, for now, only via "normal entry". Any instant payment will be free of charge from now on.
Because the payment is made immediately, you cannot cancel it.
Transfers between Belfius accounts are always carried out immediately, free of charge.
Which banks can I make an instant payment to?
You can make an instant payment to thee Belgian banks.
Instant payments are also possible outside Belgium, albeit always in euro and to a bank within the SEPA zone.
