The Belfius EasyCard is a prepaid debit card, with a secret code, which an organisation (public administration, social profit organisation or corporate enterprise) can issue to beneficiaries who cannot be paid on a payment account.

The card can be loaded / unloaded by the organisation and used by the holder to make payments via Bancontact/MisterCash/Maestro or to withdraw cash from an ATM.

Each organisation can use the Belfius EasyCard for whatever purpose it chooses:

• Either for “external” payments made to persons outside the entity (e.g. administered) and the amounts of which may be partially or fully recoverable. The data related to the balance and loading / unloading history of these cards are visible to all users who consult or manage Belfius EasyCards for external use.
• For “internal” payments made to persons within the entity, the amounts of which should not be recoverable (e.g. salary of a person in the entity). The data related to balance and loading / unloading history of these cards are only visible to persons authorised to manage Belfius EasyCards with financial data in the entity.
• Or for business expenditure payments. This type of use is assimilated to the “external payments” type of use. It allows money to be made available to staff members for business expenditure (e.g. an amount for the purchase of supplies by the person responsible in the entity). It is possible for the entity to recover all or part of the amounts paid. The data related to the balance and loading / unloading history of these cards are visible to all users who consult or manage Belfius EasyCards for external use.

To view the history of a Belfius EasyCard, the holder of the BelfiusWeb card must also be the holder of the EasyCard. If the holder of the EasyCard does not have a BelfiusWeb card, then no one can view the history.

• Go to ‘Products’ > ‘Cards’ > ’Belfius EasyCard’..
• Select the 3 dots to the right of the EasyCard.
• Select ‘History’..
