BelfiusWeb App (Android)

  • Which accounts can I view using this application?

    All of the current, savings, loan, group and centralisation accounts available in your BelfiusWeb subscription can automatically be viewed in BelfiusWeb App. TIP: use personal groups that you can manage in BelfiusWeb App to make viewing your accounts more straightforward. Can I manage more than one entity?
  • Can I manage several entities?

    All of the entities for which you have activated a BelfiusWeb subscription and the option ‘BelfiusWeb App’ , are available in the application. The application enables you to set a favourite entity by clicking on * next to the required entity. Each time you open the application, you will automatically be taken to your favourite entity.
  • How can I manage groups (of accounts)?

    All groups will be transferred out of your BelfiusWeb subscription. The application enables you to set a favourite group by clicking on * next to the required group. For your next session, the application will then automatically open with your favourite group. You can create and modify groups in BelfiusWeb and BelfiusWeb App.
  • Can I also enter payments?

    For the moment it is only possible to introduce transfers between own accounts or between compartiments. Other types of payments aren’t possible for the moment.
  • How can I personalise the overview of my accounts?

    In the Settings / Accounts menu you can set the way you want the list of accounts to be displayed in the application: single (selected account) open; always open (full list); always closed (full list)
  • I keep seeing an error message when I go from mobile to a WiFi network and vice versa. Why is that?

    To ensure maximum security, we don’t allow 2 different IP addresses to be open in the same session.
  • Some data appears sometimes in a different language, even though my application is in English. Why is that?

    The language settings on your device also affect certain elements in the application.
    You can change these settings via Settings -> General -> International.\nThe version of your keyboard can also play a role.\nYou can adjust the version via Settings -> General -> Keyboard -> International versions
  • How is my privacy respected when logging on with my fingerprint?

    Neither Belfius, nor BelfiusWeb App saves your fingerprints.
    Only your device does.
  • Isn’t it risky to log on with my fingerprint?

    Not at all.
    • When logging on you with your fingerprint, you can only check your accounts.
    • If you wish to perform a transaction, e.g. signing a transfer, we ask you to enter your password to enable us to identify you. All the fingerprints registered on your device will allow you to log in to your application.
    • For each transaction your password is asked.
  • How can I activate or deactivate the Fingerprint option in BelfiusWeb App?

    You can do so at any moment.
    Just go to the Settings > Manage fingerprint.
  • How can I register my fingerprint on my smartphone or tablet?

    • First activate Fingerprint via the settings of your device: open the app via Settings > Manage fingerprint.
    • Then activate Fingerprint using the red button. Follow the steps indicated on the screen.
  • I logged on with my fingerprint. Why need I still enter my password?

    Even after you logging on with your fingerprint, you need to enter your password for all your transactions. All fingerprints registered on your device give access to BelfiusWeb App (so, if your child’s fingerprint is also registered on your device, we prevent it from making a transaction as it is playing around).
  • Which measures have been taken to secure the logon with Fingerprint?

    • It is impossible for you to make a transaction without entering your password.
    • The connection with our servers is perfectly secured.
    • You cannot log on with your fingerprint in case of rootage or jailbreak of your device.
  • On which devices can I log on to BelfiusWeb App with my fingerprint? What are the requirements?

    • You just need to have an Android (Android 6 or higher), because Android supports the Fingerprint option.
  • How to close an account?
